If you don't know, a re-entry permit is a travel document used to travel outside your own estate for up to two years. You can stay outside the USA for up to two years and use the re-entry permit to come back to your estate. So, today I'm going to show you how to apply for that document. If you've been following my YouTube channel, you might have seen my video about how to apply for a travel document, which uses the same form we're going to use today - Form I-131. First and foremost, you need to go to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) website. Click on "Forms" and then scroll down until you find "Apply for Travel Document - Form I-131." Click on it, and here you go. Just like I mentioned earlier, it's basically the same process as applying for a travel document, with a few changes when applying for a re-entry permit. Now, let's go through this form again, in case you missed my last video. First, you need to fill in your last name, first name, middle name, or any other information about your Alien Registration Number (A-Number). This information can be found on your green card or travel document. Fill it in the appropriate field. Next, provide your country of birth. If you're from France, for example, just write "France." The same goes for your citizenship. Now, enter your physical address, where you currently reside. Fill in this form with your address.
